  • We Value Quality Over Quantity

Our region’s economic landscape is rich with variety and innovation, and so we choose to partner with local Agricultural, Engineering and Manufacturing businesses that share our idea of quality over quantity, working to make a difference; businesses that value a strong team of individuals to help them evolve.

We appreciate that hiring can be both a timely and costly part of running a business and so we’ve designed a process, built upon our 45 years of industry expertise, that works to save you time and money by ensuring that each role is met with only the best-matched candidates. Our case-by-case approach means that our pricing structure is adaptable to suit your requirements.

Our Process

Let us guide you through our process. Please get in touch to discuss your vacancy or find out more information about how we work.

  • 1

    Vacancy Discussion

Understanding your business is key to matching the right people with each vacancy. We’ll schedule an in-person or remote meeting or phone call to discuss the various components that build a broad picture of your recruitment objectives and vacancy details, along with establishing the interview process and an agreed timeline. We’ll consider factors such as preferred experience and background, necessary qualifications and day-to-day duties as well as work culture, salary and benefits so that we can construct a complete and comprehensive job specification that is both an accurate and interesting representation of the role and the business as a whole.

    Advertisement & Applications

We work with every job on an individual basis which means we can fine-tune vacancies, as well as how and where they’re advertised, to match them with the best possible candidates. We’ll utilise several job boards, along with networking and social media channels to market the position in conjunction with proactive headhunting and database searches to identify prospective individuals. You’ll have the option of whether opportunities are displayed with your business’s branding or without as part of our considered approach.

    Candidate Shortlist

After carefully reviewing each application, we will compile a hand-picked selection of suitable candidates we believe are best matched with your vacancy and company culture. To streamline the process, we’ll present our shortlist to you with accompanying notes and observations for each applicant, such as their salary expectations, career aspirations, and reasons for looking for a new challenge so that you have a clear overview of each individual in order to make an informed decision on whom to interview.

    Interviews

Once you’ve decided which applicants you’d like to invite for an interview, we’ll work with you closely to schedule them at mutually convenient times. With ongoing support and expert guidance, we’ll ensure both you and the candidates feel prepared and well-equipped with knowledge ahead of the interview for a productive, positive experience. We’ll be on hand with advice before, during and after to deliver constructive feedback, set up any required follow-up meetings and help you to review candidates effectively.

    Job Offer & Onboarding

On selecting the successful applicant, we’ll discuss the finer details of the opportunity, such as terms,
conditions, benefits package and salary, and put together a complete offer which we’ll present to them (and oversee any necessary negotiations) on your behalf. Upon acceptance of the offer, during the notice period, we will remain in regular contact with you and the candidate to assure an open line of communication before their new role begins. We’ll continue to support you both far beyond the first day of employment to ensure the candidate is settling in well and progressing as expected with check-up calls scheduled within the first week and subsequently at 4, 8 and 12 weeks.
